Mike Michelson. Mike was unexpectedly stricken with a pulmonary embolism and died suddenly on April 15, 2006. While we have rebounded from Mike's death, we miss him deeply. Click here to read The Plain Dealer article dated April 17, 2006 (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).

New beginnings. Andrew Thompson and Doug Bloom are now partners and the firm has moved to the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, on Chagrin Boulevard east of 271. Andy's wife gave birth to twins in May (Connor and Haley) and Doug's wife gave birth to a son in March (Zachary).

Fresh focus. We are thrilled with our new office (come pay a visit) and our energy is contagious. Parking is free! With the relocation, we have seen a sharp upswing in our business/commercial law practice.

"Have briefcase and laptop ... will travel." Thanks to cell phones and laptops, we litigate in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio. Rick and Andy both have over one hundred thousand miles on their automobiles.

New faces. Nora Pollock will join us after she graduates from Case Western Law School in May. Nora is originally from Cleveland Heights; she received her B.A. from Colgate University in Philosophy and Sociology in 1996 and her Masters Degree from Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan in 2000.
